Parna Sarkar, the heart and soul of Raaga Music School, is a passionate musician and dedicated teacher whose mission is to inspire a love for Hindustani Classical and Semi-Classical music in her students.
Parna’s musical journey began at the tender age of 4 in a family steeped in music. Her early training included classical, Nazrulgeeti, and devotional songs under her mentor’s guidance. Inspired by her maternal uncle and aunt, accomplished radio artists in Kolkata, Parna pursued Hindustani Classical music with dedication. She is a grand disciple of the legendary Pandit Jasraj.
